The universe is eternal.

It can be eternal and long lasting, because they do not exist for itself, and for this reason can long endure.

In the same way those Enlighteded Individuals choose to remain behind,but always find themselves foremost.

Put themselves beyond their ego,

and yet they remain safe and secure.

It is only because they go beyond their egoism

that they stay permanent with the Energy of Pure Consciousness.

第七章   天长地久

天长地久。天地所以能长且久者，以其不自生，故能长生。
是以圣人后其身而身先，外其身而身存。 非以其无私邪？故能成其私。

[译文]

宇宙时空场永恒无限。宇宙时空场之所以可以长久永恒，是因为它们没有生命的循环，才可以长久。所以，真正悟道的人将大众的利益置于其个人利益之上，才可以获得大众的拥戴。超越自我物质存在，才可以作为一个纯宇宙意识能粒子与宇宙本体永存。

正是他超越了物质自我，才成就了他与纯宇宙意识能本体永存。
